Don't violate Madara's character like that, he loved his brother.

Hashi even knew that.

He loved him up to the point when Tobirama beat him. Madara felt Izuna was an embarrassment so he took his eyes. If he loved Izuna so much, why did he stab Sasuke?

I think he did too because his story is off. Tobirama was the one who supposedly killed Izuna on the battlefield. But when Madara tells his story again he said that Izuna agreed to giving him his light.

That can't be the case if Tobirama killed Izuna cause that would mean his light would be shut off from death. When they show further scans of Madara, Izuna is alive and he takes his brothers eyes by force.

Izuna had the sharingan when he lost against Tobirama and died shortly after, but when we see Madara an Izuna, Izuna is healthy and doesn't appear to be wounded. Madara stole his dead brother light before it burned out. IMO

Interesting point. But in the midst of a war, things happen

Madara lied. He took his eyes by force.
Hashirama and Tobirama told the story and I'm sure a healing expert & someone who can raise the dead have a good enough understanding on human anatomy to know wether or not it's a vital point. Tobirama sealed Izuna's fate to death.
Madara loved his brother & Izuna's death was his biggest leap towards insanity.

Itachi didn't know everything about Madara. His time was so far away from Itachi's that the story is bound to get altered. And we saw exactly what happened. Tobirama beat Izuna and he wanted Madara to carry out his wishes. Since he began losing his eyesight and had a spare set of eyes..

Because he already gave Sasuke chance to join him. It was Madara´s or Sasuke´s life at that moment.

If he loved Izuna so much, why did he stab Sasuke?

He was drawing a parallel to illustrate how, in Hashirama's world of cruel paradoxes, shinobi are forced to sacrifice something to protect something else. To protect his current dream, Madara was willing to go as far as Hashirama went in the past, killing whoever got in the way of that dream, be they "friend, brother, or even my very own child." Madara felt a kinship with Sasuke; intuitively, Sasuke was something between a brother and a child to Madara, simply due to Sasuke's similar life path and all of the things Sasuke represented.

Madara would never have killed Izuna. At the time that Madara first heard Hashirama utter those words, Madara warned that Hashirama had his priorities backwards, and that the contradiction would lead to darkness. In the end, by stabbing Sasuke, Madara was embracing that darkness as an inevitability of Hashirama's world, but it was a bitter moment.
