I won't say that Sasuke cannot stop IT. However, I would be surprised if without Juubi level power Sasuke can stop something that required Juubi-level power to be casted. This would be a major plothole.

My opinion is that with the amount of power Naruto has currently, and the amount of uncertainty he has about his own power, he will become almost a god by the end of this fight. I won't be surprised if Naruto beat the crap out of Kaguya and awaken a proper hagoromo-style Rinnegan or his own at the end of this arc.
