I don't see much hope for Kakuzu, except if we're talking about "Vs sasuke" Itachi, but if Kakuzu gets Tsukyomed is over. On the other hand, Sasori have some pretty good chances of wining against Itachi anyday.

If Amaterasu is on all the puppets the puppets are useless.

I though Yata Mirror deflected any attack, period. Not changing elements to deflect them.

Anyway, together I think they would pose a great threat to Itachi, but individually I dont think they would. Sasori, while he has his poison attacks, has a giant target for a heart. Really about any attack from Itachi would suffice in killing him off rather quickly. From afar Itachi has Susanoo to defend from poison attacks and puppets, and attacks like amaterasu would easily break through any guarding puppets/heart.

Kakuzu would be a bit harder, but in the end still doesnt pose that much of a threat on his own. The biggest thing he has going for him is that Itachi has to kill him 5 times, but Im curious to know what would happen if Kakuzu (with all 5 hearts) gets struck by Itachi's spirit sword. Since it seals the target, Im pretty sure all of Kakuzu's hearts would also be sealed in that one strike.

I think it's possible. Far before Kakuzu gained Earth Grudge Fear, he was able to survive a fight with Hashirama. I know this isn't plausible, but I really think Kakuzu was killed by plot no jutsu. At the very least, a man who was able to survive 1v1 against Shodaime should have done way better than he did against Naruto and crew, especially with Earth Grudge Fear AND Hidan at his disposal, don't you think? I'm not as sure about Sasori, I know very little of him. But at the very least, I think he would stand a chance. Though in all reality, Itachi has Yata Mirror and Koto Amatsukami...and if the Yata Mirror truly works as described in the manga, then Itachi would be completely invincible so long as he has the chakra to keep his Susano'o up, and if all else fails, as a last resort he could use Koto Amatsukami. He can use it at this point, because assuming Sasori is alive, this takes place before he gives Koto Amatsukami to Naruto, no? Just a thought. But interesting thought, Doctor I'm not sure though, Itachi is, after all...a dangerous character :/

I agree. However, I believe that Yata mirror cannot counter two elements, or even three at the same time.

Owarijj Yata Mirror was said to change properties against any attack correct? Isn't this just limited to single nature techniques? I'm not exactly feeling that a double, or triple nature assault in which Kakuzu can present can be countered by Yata Mirror.

The databook spoke in a plurality not in a singular manner. If kakuzu attacks with combination elements , it will provide a combination of elements to cancel the attack out / repel it

True but itachi would simply need to puncture the ground where his appendages are buried and seal/destroy the arms,or move away from them.

Sharingan is capable of seeing the underground chakra , and Sussano is able to phase through the earth in defense or likewise offence
