You shouldn't be. It is their shame, and you know what they say:

"A smart man's shame is a fool's pride."

People create these ugly things and don't want to get it on their hands, even to fix something. The reason is we have made each other believe we are so much better then we actually are, this hypocrisy and cowardice to admit it is the root problem.
It's always been cowardice, but now I'm thinking greed plays a part too.

This is America after all. You really expect them to be "equal" after the Civil Rights movement? There's always another group to pick on.

just like the current administration and the criminal known as hillary?

Yeah. Pretty much. I notice people only really want Hillary because shes a woman and not because she would have any real qualifications for the job. Go back about 10 years from now and ask Hillary her opinion on gay marriage it would be that she was against it ( ) because a majority of Americans were against. Same with the Irag war. Shes a follower, not a leader.

well bernie lets his campaign rally get taken over two random sjw. doubt he can lead with respect.

Then why do the mass majority respect Bernie? He's been an activist all of his life and is one of the most respected members by the Senate.

Also, Trump has alienated all of the U.S. alliances. People are voting him to be banned in Europe. China almost broke their trade agreements with the U.S. Mexico says they'd start a war before building a wall for Trump. List goes on.

Exactly how does Trump lead with respect?

Playing on peoples fears & blaming minorities for the negatives while making positive promises for the future. Isn't that how Hitler came into power?

the people of Europe already have a bad impression of the america due to our previous leaders. they tend to side with the political correctness that goes as far as banning a blind 7 year old of bringing a walking stick in order to get around in school. mexico wont dare start a war they can't win. if anything mexico relies on the us for support during time of war thanks to the RIO treaty. concerning china, well you got me there. only thing i can think of is the Chinese economic bubble still doing damage.

Just don't let them get to you man, let them live their lives full of hate up until they die. People like that can never be happy I swear to god, too many 'threats' and things to get pompous or mad at.

Except the entire EU and the UK support Bernie Sanders for president.

Mexico, unless paid an insurmountable amount, won't build a wall. Period. Trump is not going to be able to force a country to build a wall.

Trump makes his products in China. Even if every corporation pulls out of there, that won't help solve anything. Outsourcing will still exits and they'll just take the jobs to different countries. Trump won't solve anything.

I don't think you realize how many U.S. policies are socialist policies. That word is only a calling card for those who are uneducated.

Social Security, public schools, hospitals, military, police, firefighters, prison, student loans, foodstamps, welfare, the list goes on. That's all socialist policies.

No, they love him because he actually makes sense. If our country succeeds, so does theirs. Economy isn't only tied to one country. Big countries have an effect to the global economy.

So making college free, breaking up the big banks, raising the minimum wage, help solve global warming, and having the Arab nations form coalitions for ground combat against ISIS isn't going to solve anything? You're insane.

For the past few weeks I've been debating with Trump supporters about race and politics. I've never in my life had the displeasure of dealing with such deplorable, hateful, racist, and illogical people in my life. It honestly depressed me.

Ahhhh I wish you hadn't made this thread, it won't take long for them to show up

That said, Trump's rhetoric isn't really new, it's just more obnoxious

I wouldn't say he's showing America's true colors as America has many different with many different political views. Whats he showing is that any one that has money, is famous, and will say anything can jump on stage and make an election a drama show.

Elections were always a drama show; the model for mainstream media is entertainment, not journalism

I believe this election is the most important of our lives thus far and a pivotal moment for the future of this country.

People need to go out and vote and spread awareness! Don't just dismiss it like before.

Apparently Republicans are breaking turnout records in these primaries (as in, proportion of registered voters that actually turn out to vote); the Democrats are doing pretty much average. Sanders' campaign is the most successful grassroots-centered campaign we've ever seen, but none of this speaks to what'll happen during the general election. Food for thought.

That's the topic that needs to be discussed.

If a significant majority of the U.S agree with this man, who are we as a country really?

Ah don't jump the gun :(
