I am back and have a debate! Minato is fairly easy to beat! IMO

every jutsu doesn't have weakness. What's the weakness of tsukoyomi?

How about the incredible strain it puts on the user? Also if the user were to mess up and accidentally use it on a clone isntead of the actual opponent, they would have severely drained their chakra and energy levels, weakening them and making them more vulnerable to the enemy. It is not a perfect jutsu.

As for the OP I get your point here. Minato is indeed weak against long range fighters, but he's smarter than to try and start a long range battle with a ninja who specializes in long range jutsu. It would be easy for him to retreat using FTG because he always has seals a considerable distance away from the battlefield. He could always retreat far away and sneak up on the enemy when they aren't expecting it.

Unless the enemy destroys all of the seals that Minato has placed around the vicinity of the battlefield (which we know he places them even in relatively far away places) they wont be able to beat him that easily.

Manga and anime have already proved you wrong because what we have seen so far minato has never been beaten.

Yeah if you're SO6P.

Minato can take out likes of Edo Hashirama or Edo Madara 1v1 with RDS U_U

I agree. FTG is used either with tagging or with FTG Kunais. Any user with a long-rage technique such as Suiton, Raiton, Katon or any other attacks would destroy or damage the Kunais. Leaving them useless for Mintao to use. If he cannot teleport, he cannot tag, and if he cannot tag, he won't be able to travel instantly to his opponent.

His S/T barrier requires handseals - 5 as far as I remember - and is not an instant technique. It requires for him to stay still and teleport an attack or object/entity to another location. This window can be used by any ninja to his/hers advantage, provided they have fast attacks.

You forgot that minato has the S/T barrier to counter long range techs. And he does'nt always rely on FTG.Even his base speed and reflexes are god like. The fact that he can instantly change the range of battle makes him one of the most difficult opponents to fight let alone beat him.

he nullifies long range attacks like the TBB but it took a load of chakra from him. if his enemy has large chakra reserves minato is in trouble. we have never seen him fight long range against good comp he is on defense.

......

you actually made zero sense

minato already beat tobi....

minato has kunai outside of battle so none of the jutsu you mentioned will work... for example kisame water ball.... teleport boom

do you know that he can teleport to a kunai that he just recently threw right?

did you think this through?

you need to understand the ftg a little more because that is not how you beat it....

think of the battle between A and minato....

use that as your template

yet teleporting outside a justu is escape not victory. so kisame does a a jutsu to gain the upper hand with minato. and "WHO EVER SAID HE DID NOT WIN AGAINST OBITO" WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OF EVEN STATING THAT!?"

The FTG jutsu is a fast way to move, yet the true power is the users ability to kill in one strike. As we all know the kunai have seals in which the user can teleport to. A good long range fighter or any shinobi with powerful long range jutsu will have the advantage. As long as minato's opponent does not engage in a direct battle, where the kunai surrounds him/her they have a great chance.

Obito could afford to chance a close range battle due to his S/T jutsu and Kamui (assuming his transparent state is not apart of kamui). Also a better skilled MS kakashi would stand a equal chance. Minato's seals that we saw in the kakshi's past is a fearsome justu. But like itachi said "every jutsu has a weakness". to counter that seal jutsu which allows him to instantaneously appear behind his opponent, you only need to be very skilled in attacking from a distance

Skills such as kisames giant water prison like justu, diedra using aerial assaults, garras sand, and a few other techs come to mind.LET'S BE CLEAR THAT MINATO HAS THE TACTICAL SKILL TO USE FTG TO IT'S FULL BATTLE POTENTIAL AND NOT JUST A MEANS OF ESCAPE, YET I THINK SOME SHINOBI IN THE SERIES DO STAND A GREAT CHANCE.

Easy to beat in terms of it not being rocket science to figure out a counter

If he was fairly easy to beat i doubt kishi would class minato as kage level; plus your forgetting we have seen only a few of his jutsu, its not accurate to judge off only the current jutsu we have seen

long ranged? bitch please look how far minato was from the ninetails and then suddenly he was on top of kurama. i dont see any FTG seals on kurama. so its either he is fast. or there i s a kunai on the ground and his teleporting radius is so large that he appears above of the giant tailed beast
