The fact & the matter is he is no longer important to the story & he's existence wasn't even praised or recognized by the kages of any villages (past & present). Though I'd like to admit that Hiruzen was an extraordinary shinobi, as he was able to utilize 5 elements, knew 1000 genjutus or whatsoever, comparing him to SOT6P or Hashirama / Madara is a total bs. Hashirama was being touted to control bijius as his puppets, this feat alone was enough to consider that Prime-Hiruzen or not will never defeat him in a battle. How will he handle 7 bijui-bombs fired at him one at a time or at the same time? How will he overcome Wood-Dragon jutsu? Also, the 1st was known to heal his wounds even w/o hand signs & can change the battlefield according to his advantage. How will Hiruzen respond to that? I don't even know how he will handle Minato much more to expect from the 1st. *Sigh*

Yes, I am well aware that senju's were known to train all 3 forms of combat nin , gen , tai etc... A trait that without a doubt is existent in the sarutobi clan though we're yet to know how prevalent....It definitely isn't normal when 12 year olds learn A rank techniques , especially when they aren't even supposed to be able to learn c rank fire jutsu yet
