Hyuuga Hanabi. Why dont we hear anything about her anymore?
She was apparently stronger than her older Sister Hinata.
We can use some more Hyuugas in the spotlight.
If some people would attack Konoha, than we could see her in action (I assume she is in Konoha).

What would be cool I think, if there was a Hyuuga Hanabi vs Sarutobi Konohamaru in some contest or exam.
It would be some sort of new version of Hyuuga Neji vs Uzumaki Naruto.

What do you think?

Seems like she should be about the same age as Konohamaru...Oh man. Just imagined Naruto and Konohamaru as brothers in law. And the Hyuuga Clan becomes that much more powerful.

I am glad to read that you all like to see it as well.
More Hyuuga. Hanabi vs Konohamaru.

It would be Kishi his style to repeat a certain happening in a new way.

The sannin and team 7.
Obito and Naruto (one taking a dark path, the other a path of light).
Some masters and students, who become sort of versions of each other.

The Hyuugas are finaly in the spotlight.
Now I would like to see some history flashback about their origin. This is the right time to fit it in somewhere.

I've depicted Hanabi as being somewhat of a mix between Hinata and Neji. I imagine her demeanor to be rather elitist with a sharp intellect and a hardened, decisive edge to her. At that same time, I could see the pressure of her father's focus to have driven her to a bit of emotional instability. Like Hinata, she tends to intrinsically care about those around her, though she's yet to really learn how to express it. She's been trained and held to a higher standard of maturity than her natural development cycle, further isolating her from the peer groups she would otherwise interact with in her limited spare time.

She'd view many in her age group with a bit of frustrated contempt - irritated by what would be viewed as quaint displays, but also longing for a connection to someone. There's still a kid in there who feels the need to be expressed.

So I team her up with Konohamaru and have a sort of Sasuke-Naruto-esque rivalry between them is beginning to shift into a bond of comradery.

Though I do have a downright fight planned between the two of them. It will just take the conclusion of my redesign of the war arc to develop.

Nice, you expect Kishi to match them in a fight as well.

More Hyuuga likers on this base than I thought (based on the replies lately in Hyuuga threads).
I see the Irony of me having a Kakashi Profile (Sharingan lol).
Hyuuga are white and grey as colors. Its kinda hard to make a colorful profile out of them :).

You could be spot on about Hanabi her personality.

We dont really know Hanabi her personality yet though, so its hard to tell if they are a bad pairing or not.

They would make for a good 1 on 1 battle though :).

Well its not like pairings have to include ***. Love exists below 18 too :).
Not to forget, Naruto, Hinata, Sakura etc. are not 18 either, and people talk about pairings regarding them as well.

Anyway I was just responding to that post about if their personalities could match and since we know little about Hanabi, I wanted to mention that we cant know yet, if they would like each other.

Konohamaru at 12-13, is stronger than Naruto was, when he battled Neji.
The fact that Hanabi is better than Hinata at her age, wouldnt have to be a problem.
Especially if Konohamaru gets some of his anime jutsus, in the manga as well, like Searing ash cloud and Shuriken Kage bunshin. Add a monkey summon on top and he could fight on equal ground with Hanabi for sure (maybe without Enma too).
That aside, we dont know Hanabi progressed from the time she had a sparring with Hinata.

About the pairing, we really cant tell if they would like each other or not, cause we can only assume what kind of person Hanabi is.

Well, it was more in reference to my fan-fiction. I have pulled Hanabi and Konohamaru in as semi-original characters (since we have so little to go off of for the two of them, I get to lay some groundwork and develop them a tad, makes it more fun than simply going with what we already know).

More Hyuuga likers on this base than I thought (based on the replies lately in Hyuuga threads).

To be fair... I wouldn't expect there would be many Hyuuga haters. Though I could see the difficulty in creating a Hyuuga themed profile.

You could be spot on about Hanabi her personality.

I ran across a song in the album of a Finnish band, Nightwish, that pretty much encompasses her personality as I see it:

The opening lyrics, in my opinion, form far too much of a parallel:

"The nightingale is still locked in the cage
The deep breath I took still poisons my lungs
An old oak sheltering me from the blue
Sun bathing on its dead frozen leaves"

Basically forms a parallel with the Hyuuga traditions that have been instilled in the girl prior to the Hinata-Neji reconciliation. Couples with the sheltering and isolation those teachings have had.

"A catnap in the ghost town of my heart
She dreams of storytime and the river ghosts
Of mermaids, of Whitman's and the ride
Raving harlequins, gigantic toys"

The isolation from a childhood that is still there.

"A song of me a song in need
Of a courageous symphony
A verse of me a verse in need
Of a pure-heart singing me to peace

All that great heart lying still and slowly dying
All that great heart lying still on an angel wing"

I think that's all fairly self-explanatory.

"All that great heart lying still
In silent suffering
Smiling like a clown until the show has come to an end
What is left for encore
Is the same old dead boy's song
Sung in silence
All that great heart lying still and slowly dying
All that great heart lying still on an angel wing"

That's a pretty good summary of how I view her character being about the time of Pain's assault - and what I use to build from in my fan-fiction.

The rest of the song fits, too... I just thought I'd already posted enough lyrics (that, and Nightwish did a very weird thing with this song, structuring it almost in reverse, with a long series of monologues drifting off as the conclusion - most of their 10+ minute songs build to a climax before trailing off - this one just comes out of the gate pounding the adrenaline).

she is the opposite of hinata

She is? The only canon we see of her is that she's polite (likely due to being something of an aristocrat) and that she's taken better to her father's style of training than Hinata did.

We don't really know anything else.

she would kill kono in a fight
Kind of hard to say, really. Assuming I'm correct about her personality - she flat-out wouldn't fight him spare for a few scenarios where her emotional instability had her doing something Konohamaru was going to be Naruto about and prevent (with a beating if necessary). Otherwise, she'd probably use the phrase: "I don't enjoy fighting helpless children" - which is how she would view many of the ninja her age.

That said, I don't see her as arrogant as Neji (a weakness to be exploited) - though she would be much more resolved and confident than Hinata. It's hard to call a fight between the two, because Konohamaru would be capable of wearing her down. Plus, he has that Naruto-like stubbornness about him that tends to inspire and earn respect.

The only real thing we have to go by is that, according to their father's evaluation of them; Hanabi is the strongest amongst the two sisters (though we've also seen Hinata display a considerable reluctance to fight with resolve). That's all we really know about Hanabi's abilities.

and out of it a fight years later i t would still be a bad pairing he should just get with moegi otherwise we might get another obito in the future

I'm not quite sure how matching up characters in a fight equates to matching them up in a relationship....

They are considerably young for any literal romantic pairings to be forming. Bonds of friendship that could, in a few years, go that way - sure... but trying to put those characters in a romantic relationship at such an early age is silly.
