Ummm im pretty sure you still have ties with a village if you're a missing nin....

I am pretty sure you have completely failed to understand his statement. Did he in any form state that the 'Hyuuga clan is the most powerful clan of all time, or is more powerful than so and so clan'? Why are you pin-pointing Uchiha alone? As going by this logic, Hyuuga are more powerful than Senju clan as well.
