Just because a user has the Sharingan, doesn't mean that he is automatically better than the rest; Lee proved this by easily defeating Sasuke who had the Sharingan. Also, Itachi himself stated that he and Kisame would have been equal to Jiraiya if they fought, or that they all would have died.

Don't be biased and say that having a doujutsu makes you better than those who don't or those who have a weaker doujutsu.

Yeah this. IMO Sharingan is superior in some ways an inferior in others, Byakugan the same. Which is why I think it'd be totally rad if a character had 1 sharingan and 1 byakugan, but noooooooooo Kishi totally can't do that.
