Think about it. She needs way more development than that. If you consider Naruto's standard(considering that kishi doesn't know how to handle female characters) for a female character, then sure Hinata was greatly developed. However, in general, her character is boring and I am sure I am not the only one who thinks so.

Its not just her. Pretty much every side character from the Konoha 11 is one dimensional.

Naruto's father had flashback no jutsu, he could inspire flashbacks in people like he did against might gai, his son acquired talk no jutsu but pls after gaining Rikudo's yang chakra his talk no jutsu evolved into preach to jutsu the ultimate TNJ or PNJ.

Okay this is good but...lets get some things straight. The poster person for hard work is might gai just a reminder to all of you. The chin on exams? A lot of things inspire Naruto like you just got a beat down and sent to the hospital by your own cousin, Naruto is already known for standing up for the little person anyway. And okay...she can do the sixty four palms? She only did that against like one juubifodder and it was only the first wave, even shino's was more impressive. And yup she did save Naruto from Pein...well...not really. The kyuubi saved Naruto from pein but ultimately Minato saved Naruto from pein. Hinata was literally just a fodder (in terms of actually doing something like hurting pein) to get Naruto to his anger point. Other than that yeah pretty much, the rest suit hinata pretty well. We need a toneri appreciation thread! JK XD XD XD
