It isn't really baseless. It's common sense.
Especially when you consider the fact that Hashirama and Madara are part of the war era.

I didn’t say they were inferior. I just said that both Uchiha and senju were superior. The manga said that anytime a clan was needed to fight the senjus the opposite side will hire the Uchihas and same vice versa. There was no mention about the hyuga being hired or used to do the same.

The Uchihas didn’t ask to start a village that they mutually created. You need to remember that this system created was madara’s idea and hashirama’s motivation. You need to stop singling out Uchihas every chance you get.
