Impossible, if the hyuga were related to the elder son. They would suffer from the curse of hatred.

That doesn't really debunk anything, Descendants of the Elder son became the Uchihas yes,but there's always different branches of families that share a similar ancestor.

Oh yeah, if the hyuga were related. Tobi wouldve said something like " the elder sons descendants became the uchiha and hyuga"....

If they sealed it off then how come they have different abilities than the sharingan? I dont even think they'd be able to use their dojutsu if they "sealed" it off..

remember, they sealed the ms (losing their eyesight) and even so they couldn't get rid of the symptom that cause mangekyou sharingan ,what if the hyuuga sealed their eyes and they couldn't get rid of the symptom that causes the sharingan
