Notice that Dai recieved no hype what so ever, yet people are saying "He got hype".. the hell is this.

Notice that Kishimoto hasn't even talked about 8th gate since part 1 until now.. On top of that he never hyped its power to be god level.. Even right now, he portrayed it as something that Gai can use to distract Madara.. since they are waiting on Obito to put in the tailed beasts inside Naruto.. Come on man.


Why must us fans do this?? Make some random ass hype ourselves, and get butthurt when its not in the manga?

The 8th gate is all hype. We haven't seen a feat of it yet. We could only describe it in relation to the 7th gate which is a powerful attack on its own, it being the final gate and Madara's comment about the red beast

It has hype and weight. Gai Might cripples Madara, flashback to madara being misunderstood and used... new supervillain, the real man behind the curtain emerges....

God level = having God inside of you.

They really believe this makes Gai 'God-level'. Madara Uchiha has absorbed the Juubi, the creature closest to a 'God' in the Narutoverse, on top of his own power. Realistically, Gai should be dead now.
Luckily for Gai, though, this manga doesn't make any sense anymore.

That is an incomplete Juubi (lacking Hachibi and Kyuubi). Madara has an almost completed Juubi (only missing 50% of the Kyuubi)

Well there's is only one god level shinobi and that's Madara I don't think anyone said 8 gates is god level but it does have hype.
