~sigh~. Ok so lets look at examples of people who underrate hype , "that character has too much hype", "hes nothing but hype", "hype doesn't count".
Now, people tend to completely ignore hype. OR count it where they want it to. FOR EXAMPLE, Sarutobi Hiruzen.. was HYPED as the "God of Shinobi". But he didn't show that much skill during his fight with Oro. BUT people tend to forget that he was a 60 year old man who had stopped fighting long time ago. NOT saying he is the strongest. BUT you cannot ignore the hype built around his name....People say Itachi > Hiruzen.. BUT NO. Hiruzen in his prime was known as the "God of Shinobi".. But then they will say Sarutobi > Hashirama.. Hashirama has been called the BEST NINJA.. and Madara (the guy who say all the Hokages) thinks only he can beat him.. BUT Sarutobi's hype was technically proven wrong.
Hashirama, people tend to get pissed off, about Madara saying only hashirama can beat him/ stop him. And then go ahead and say we don't know enough info about him.... Are you bloody kidding me? We know about his elements.... some of his jutsus... and just by that hes top tier and we know for a fact that the main villain only think he can stop him. That should say something about his unkown abilities. =]. Hype has not been proven wrong so it counts.
No/Barely Screen Time:
Tobirama, people tend to argue about that we don't know enough about Tobirama.. Yet the fact is we know he was a Strong ass person. He possessed 2 of the strongest jutsu in Naruto... Edo tensei and S/T jutsu. He had a lightening blade which was OP. He was a Master at Water element. He had monstrous chakra, Senju body. So please tell way we don't know enough about him.. to judge or make analysis of?
So BOTTOM LINE : HYPE IS CORRECT UNLESS PROVEN WRONG, And no screen time doesn't = Not enough info.
