As the title says the hype credibility battle begins.

"Hype" of Hiruzen vs the "hype" of Hashirama

Hriuzen's hype : The professor (Oro) , The God Shinobi (Oro), WAS SAID TO BE the strongest Hokage (Iruka).

Hashirama's hype : " Ultimate ninja" (Madara) , "Strongest ninja of his time" (Obito), "Only first hokage can beat Madara" (Dan), "Only Hashirama is capable of stoping me " (Madara), "Hailed as the greatest shinobi " along with his brother also (The anbu).


So the people who gave out the hype :

Oro and Iruka vs Madara, Obito, Dan , the anbu.


The key points:

"Was said to be strongest hokage"
"was hailed as the god of shinobi"

vs

"are hailed as the best shinobi".

To simplify it:
