Ah, I see. How could I have forgotten...

I reach into my ninja pouch and grab 2 smokebombs. I toss them towards the opponent, creating a thick and cloudy mist. This mist, normally, would render me unable to see as well. But I have my Byakugan activated, so it is more to my advantage than anything else. Watching my opponent, I decide upon my next course of action. I run towards him, and reach arm's length of him. I slap the dummy's ears, stunning him for a few moments. I then form a fist with my right hand and smash the dummy full in the face, sending it flying backwards a couple of metres.

OOC: Your wording is funny, so I am double-checking just in case; The byakugan would allow you to see through the smokescreen, that was the key to defeating the dummy. ^^

The dummy is sent reeling backwards until a tree puts an end to his movement. He slowly gets back up, and dusts himself off, ready to be used again at a moment's notice.

So, we have bore witness to how useful the Byakugan can be under the right circumstances - let's take it up a notch now, aye? We will now start discussing different techniques, in the hope that you learn to the best of your ability. So, the first technique is one that's vulgarly referred to as rotation. A very appropriate name, though; you will basically exude chakra while continuously moving in a circular fashion. The result? A rapidly spinning dome of chakra capable of deflecting your average projectile and taijutsu techniques. Any particularly innovative ideas that you can come up with? What's it's forte? Any particular weaknesses?

(Hakkeshou Kaiten) - 8 Trigrams Heavenly Spin/Rotation
Rank: D
Type: Defence
Range: Close
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A(+20 if used to block an attack)
Description:The user pushes chakra out of all their tenketsu and spin creating a dome shield that can fend off most attacks.

Apologies for the bad description. But yeah, the idea was that I blind the opponent and use my Byakugan to see and defeat him.

While this technique's main and primary use is for defensive purposes, the fact that the raw chakra is made solid enough to deflect attacks means that the technique itself can cause harm as well. As for innovative ideas, using a technique to forcefully pull your opponent towards you and then using rotation could work. Using it in CQC when the opponent is not expecting it or is in the middle of an attack or combo is another possible use. The first weakness I can think of that comes to mind lies in the Byakugan's blind spot. The Heavenly Spin is quite formidable with the aid of the Byakugan, since you can spot a projectile attack that is coming from behind or above and launch straight into Kaiten. However, if before or when ending the Rotation, the opponent can throw a projectile weapon or use a projectile technique to attack your blind spot.

Performing the Technique: I begin to focus chakra towards me Tenketsu pressure points, and start to spin on one foot. As I begin to pick up speed, the chakra progressively looks more like a dome. Once I reach a high speed, the chakra forms a dome around me.
