[Question] HxH Questions.

1st question - what is the difference between the normal HxH anime and the HxH 2011

2nd Question - Did the anime of HxH stopped (since the manga stopped in the past) , i'm just curious in this 2nd question.

3rd Question - which episodes are fillers?

i'll soon watch HxH , after i finish the current anime that i'm watching (it's not Pokemon XY).

Edit: 4th question - (for one piece fans) is HxH as awesome as One Piece?

2. The 1999 stopped, caz it caught up to the manga. The manga always stopped too. 2011 didnt stop.
3. 1999 has lots. 2011 has none.

About HxH being awesome as One piece;I just say it has a lot of potential if you ask me.It can even surpass OP if the mangaka continues after Dark Continent with more content.(my opinion)

It's much better than one piece. I'd say that it's probably the best ONGOING SHONEN manga.

It is as good (and for me even better) as One Piece.
Watch the 2011 Version, it has no fillers and is ongoing with one episode coming every tuesday. Right now there are 140 episodes out.
It is my second favorite Anime after all, so I really suggest you to try it out. Some things will remind you a bit of Naruto. ^^

1. It has 5 fillers which are still better than the 2 worthless recap episodes from the 2011 series.
3. Again 5 is not a lot and 2011 had 2 recap episodes with no new information so it had 2.


OT: A big difference between the two is the opening scene, the 99 version includes an important scene from the manga while the 2011 version leaves it out. Also the 99 version has a little extra drama added to the beginning of the hunter exams. The art and animation are just about equal if anything though I would say they had better character design in 99 idk why but Gon's hair and the little things like that don't look as good this time around, but they still look good.

1. 2011 has no fillers but the 1999 version does. Also, the 1999 version had one flashback (canon) that the 2011 didn't have. The 2011 is still amazing though.

2. Yes, most likely.

3. In the 2011 version? None.

4. Depends, let me explain. The 2011 HxH anime is much better than the OP anime but the OP manga is much better than the HxH manga. TBH, the HxH 2011 anime has only 3 awesome arcs the rest are alright/good. So, no OP is much better than HxH. However the HxH manga (chp. 341 & over) recently is really amazing.

Since the first three questions has been answered, and they are not really opinion based. I will share my 2cents about the fourth one.

It's a lot better than One Piece, like miles better. Better in characters, worldbuilding, fights (they are actually strategic and not mindless like OP), themes (some actual deep themes about Humanity and Vengeance), has one of the best shounen arcs I've ever seen (Yorknew arc). Just overall a really amazing and unique battle anime.
