I guess i have to read this entire arc to understand wtf is going lol.
But still it would come in handy if someone can tell me what actually happened in the chapter, it was a lot of text and i just speed read everything and its kinda confusing now.

TBH this is just the beginning of that Arc.. to sum it up, they're trying to explore the dark continent which is the original habitat of the chimera ant and other unknown creatures... since that continent is off limit for humans.

Correct, and due to the dangerous ordeal that is the DC. It will be extremely difficult to even set foot in that place. No army of humans will be able to reach it, only skilled nen users etc. The plot is getting really interesting.

And Togashi really improved his art style. Its as if another mangaka is doing it lol

Beyond is netero's son.
Netero went to DC twice. Beyond was incharge of going to DC last time they tried but they failed bbecaause they took a new route.
The v5 ordered to kill beyond. Beyond calls the hunter org n tells them to tell v5 that they have captured beyond and something about exchange. Then we have 5 calamities from DC.

It could be that they are from the DC but thats a populair theory so far. But there are other types of humans in DC.
