In a cell in Konoha, Karin sat in on the floor, her head buried in her knees. She looked up slightly.
Karin: (They said they’d let me out in a year, but that’s too long, I want to be out now… if only I had never gotten involved with Orochimaru…)
Suddenly, a thick blue slime started coming from the tiny window. Some of it broke off from the rest and hit the ground with a loud splat.
Karin: *Gasp* (What kind of hell is this?)
The rest of the slime followed and the two halves fused and began to morph.
Karin: Stay away!
The glob slowly rose and took the shape of a human.
???: Geez why are you so annoying?
Karin: !! Is it!
The glob then turned into Suigetsu, who had a new sword on his back and he wore a dark cloak.
Suigetsu: Shh-hh, Karin! Me and Jugo are here to bust you out!
Karin: How’d you find me?
Suigetsu: We figured you were locked away in Konoha. After we finally figured out where to come, we got here as quick as we could! Jugo had the animals around here tell us where you were.
Karin: Let’s get out of here!
Suigetsu: Not so fast! I cant’t just walk us out of here. Jugo is gonna watch guard and when it’s clear, he’ll bust this place down and get us out of here. Until then, keep quiet.
Karin: JUST WHO DO YOU-!!
Suigetsu clamped his hand over her mouth.
Suigetsu: You know I can leave you here, just be quiet!
Karin: Fine.
Jugo(through wall) : Its safe, hold on.
Suigetsu: Get back Karin.
Suigetsu and Karin stood back. Then, the wall erupted as Jugo’s transformed fist emerged from the other side.
Jugo: Hurry up!
Suigetsu grabbed Karin and dragged her over to Jugo.
Jugo grabbed Karin and supported her.
Karin: I’m too weak to move on my own.
Jugo nodded, then he and Suigetsu leapt off towards the woods.
Karin: T-Thanks for coming for me…
Suigetsu: No prob, we need you as a woman and as a healer.
Karin: As a woman?
Jugo: Hm?
Suigetsu: What is it, Jugo?
Jugo: We’re being tailed.
Suigetsu unsheated his sword and stood on a tree branch, ready to attack.
Suigetsu: (They have the advantage, they know the terrain much better than us…)
Suddenly, a barrage of kunai and shuriken came sailing at them.
Suigetsu: Here we go!
Suigetsu blocked with his sword and Jugo created a shield that protected him and Karin. Three ANBU ninja and a regular ninja appeared.
Jugo: Suigetsu, I can’t fight with Karin here.
Karin: Set me down, it’s okay.
Jugo leapt onto a big tree and set Karin down on the wide branch and leaned her up against the trunk. He then stood in front of her and morphed his fists, making one bigger and giving it jet boosters and making one into an ax-like shield. Suigetsu landed next to him with his sword ready.
ANBU 1: Surrender and return the criminal.
ANBU 2: I think there the group that was with Sasuke.
Regular ninja: No matter of who they are, we have to take them out.
Jugo: Suigetsu..
Suigetsu: Yeah.
Suigetsu grinned and turned his arms and lower half into water. Then he had the water burst and it launched him towards the ninja. One of the ANBU leapt at him. Suigetsu swung his sword and sliced through the ANBU. Then he tossed his sword at the Leaf ninja. The Leaf ninja made a few seals and launched a large wave of water at Suigetsu.
ANBU 2: No, wait!
The water hit the sword and consumed it, then did the same to Suigetsu. Suddenly, Suigetsu appeared right in front of the Leaf ninja’s mouth while fused to the water. Then, the sword burst out and impaled the Leaf ninja.
The two remaining ANBU made a few seals.
ANBU 2: Earth Style! Dirt Whirpool!
Suddenly, the ground near them cracked and began to give in. Then, everything around them began to spiral and move downwards as a large whirlpool formed in the ground.
ANBU 3: Lightning Style! Flash Burial!
The ANBU let out a large bolt of lightning that hit Suigetsu.
Jugo: Suigetsu!
Jugo launched himself at the ninja. He punched for the tree branch they were on, but they leapt backwards. The stunned Suigetsu fell backwards and started falling into the whirlpool. Jugo stretched his hand and used it to grab Suigetsu. He then pulled him up and leapt across the whirlpool to the branch Karin was on. He then lay Suigetsu near Karin.
Jugo: Heal him.
Karin: Heal him?! I barely have any chakra for me, much less to heal him!
Jugo: If you don’t, we can be in big trouble here.
Karin: Fine.
Karin let Suigetsu bite her. A few seconds later, Suigetsu stood up and Karin leaned against the trunk.
Jugo allowed his body to transform more. He activated his jet boosters and launched himself over to the ANBU.
ANBU 3: Lightning Style!
Suigetsu: Don’t think so!
Suigetsu released a large blast of water from his mouth. The blast soaked the entire tree they were on.
Jugo: RAAAAH!!!
Jugo came down with his fists clenched together and hit the tree, causing it to shatter. One of the ANBU fell into the whirlpool and was dragged to the center, then buried.
ANBU 2: Shit!
Jugo: Youre next!
Suddenly, a bullet of water went through the ANBU’s head and he collapsed into the whirlpool. Then, the whirlpool stopped and the ground leveled out.
Jugo leapt over to Karin and picked her up.
Jugo: Let’s go.
Later that night, they were in a cave. Karin was eating food.
Jugo: So what now?
Suigetsu: Sasuke abandoned us at the Kage Summit. I say we become Bounty Hunters.
Jugo: I have no objections. Karin?
Karin: What choice do I have?
Suigetsu: Good. From now on, we’ll be known as Hanta!
