Tobi*Narrating*: After his battle with Hashirama, Madara was clinging to life. He replicated Hashirama's DNA and infused some of it into his own body, saving and prolonging his life. This union of Senju and Uchiha DNA made him a psuedo Rikudou Sennin, he acquired Rinnegan. However, he knew he couldn't risk another clash with Hashirama, especially now that he was severely wounded and a targeted criminal. In his secret base, he knew he needed a disciple. So he used the DNA from Hashirama to create what became the "White" Zetsu. He split it in half and infused his DNA in one half. That half was mutated, into me. I inherited a few of his powers, as well as a few of my own. I developed the ability to alter my density, allowing me to travel through objects. The two Zetsus were beginning to dissolve and die. I saved them by splicing them together. We each had a scouting mission: I was to study the Hokages and relay info to Madara, due to him not being able to risk exposure. Studying the Second, I developed my own form of Space-Time. Studying the Third, I got info on Konoha. The two Zetsus, who also got the power to alter density, though at a lesser extent, they scouted the world looking for a suitable heir. We found one in the Hidden Whirlpool, a small nation made up of Uzumaki. We went there and found a suitable heir: A little boy named Nagato. We kidnapped him and put him under a Genjutsu: One where Leaf Ninja killed his parents, we hoped this would develop a grudge against the Leaf within him, which would hopefully lead to its destruction. Coincidentally, Madara was about to die. He extracted one of his Rinnegan and gave it to Zetsu. The Uzumaki were coming after us.
Madara, Tobi, a dazed Nagato and Zetsu were on top of a small mountain. They watched as many Uzumaki men and women rushed towards them.
White Zetsu: Ehh, so much for just one kid...
Black Zetsu: They are a united people after all.
Madara stepped forward.
Madara: Tobi, take the boy and go, you leave two Zetsu. I'll take care of this. I want one last battle before I die.
Tobi: Understood.
Tobi placed his hand on Nagato's head, then transported him away. Madara leapt down in front of the Uzumaki. He made a seal and shot out a huge ball of fire. Several of the Uzumaki formed seals in unison and created a wall of water. The fireball and the water wall clashed, creating a thick wall of steam. Madara came through the steam, cutting down several of the Uzumaki with his war fan. He then stretched out his hand and blew several of them away.
Madara: (Should I continue with this farce? Or should I just end it all...I don't have much...time..)
Madara sliced through several more with his fan. Madara raised his hand. The clouds parted as a huge meteor came forth. Madara turned and set Amaterasu to several people.
Tobi: He hates using that on people he doesn't view as his equals. He must no longer care...
The meteor started plunging.
Madara: (This is it...at least I die by my own hand..)
His thoughts were cut short as a sword tore through his chest. His eye widened in shock as blood spurted from his mouth. Tobi teleported away and Zetsu melded into the earth. The meteor hit the ground, releasing a massive shockwave and destroying the landscape. Tobi appeared on the water and Zetsu diffused from a nearby floating slab of rock.
Black Zetsu: So it's done... The Uzumaki have been wiped out.
Tobi: No I'm sure they're a few left.
Zetsu disappeared and Tobi teleported. He appeared in the Hidden Rain and dropped Nagato off.
Tobi: Now he'll meet Yahiko and Konan, if all goes as planned.
Tobi teleported away.
*Scene cuts to Tobi and Sasuke*
Tobi: From there, the Akatsuki were formed. Everything went as planned, till the war was foiled.
Sasuke smirked.
Sasuke: Just one last thing.
Tobi: What?
In the blink of an eye, Sasuke was in front of Tobi, thrusting a Chidori towards his chest.
