His son did nothing compared to him. Hiruzen was Hokage for so long and they won many wars with him as Hokage, so yes he will be remembered as the best Hokage and the god of shinobi. He won't be remembered as a fairytale because his powers are not as large scale as Hashirama, at least from what we've seen.

He was strong indeed since he was hokage... but a myth? hardly, a myth is created by unbelievable feats. The only thing he did was sealing away(with a suicide jutsu) a very low powered version of Hashi and Tobirama, who were merely toying with him anyways.People claim he won that fight BUT last time i checked he died and failed to take Oro with him, so it's a tie at best.

Edo Madara said that if Hashi and him were to have a serious fight maps would have to be re-drawn, meaning their powers were so vast that the landscape would be completely destroyed and left irrecognizable, the summoned version Oro used didn't even manage to cause any serious damage to the Leaf village.Obviously he didn't even show a small fraction of his true power.
