Hunter X Hunter: The Last Mission (Movie)

Just finished seeing it on AnimeHaven (with english subs). It's pretty awesome. The animation, OST and fight scenes were great. We also got some more info on Netero's past (although I don't think it's canon). The character designs seemed more from the manga than the 2011 anime IMO, although that didn't really detract anything from the experience.

If you're a fan of HxH, I suggest you check it out if you haven't already.

It had the typical shounen power of friendship behind but besides that it was freakin awesome. Animation was on point.

Telling by the new element of 'On' added into Hunter x Hunter series by movie, I'm pretty sure it's an introduction to new material so maybe it is.

Most likely it's not. Togashi didn't write it and it's not based off the manga, so I would go with no it's non canon. But I think Togashi can use some new elements introduced in the movie for further arc if he wants to.

E.g:

I thought that Last Mission was pretty good. I just wish Hisoka had been more involved in the fighting.

Animation was great, but I wasnt fond of the way is ended. Also all that 'friend' stuff was kinda gay, its typical shonen nakama power, but it seemed even worse then usual.
