Sorry mate, but if you want to get a hot thread, make a comparison between Naruto and One Piece, insulting one series and putting other series above it........

OT - Compare the first 349 chapters of both series, and then see the tactics and all. Anyway, whatever floats your boat man...

I'm not insulting , I like naruto too , ,,, the plan in the chemira ant arc to kill the king and how they excuted it with team work .. I don't think naruto have some thing above that ...

HxH is far and away superior to Naruto. The dialogue isn't typical shonen crap, the battles actually have strategy, the anime is incredible, the characters have dimensions, the villains aren't black and white. The only knock is the art in the manga, but so what? The rest is more than enough to compensate

If we shove aside a few flaws of the current arc, Naruto is far better..........people who say hXh is better, could have started reading/ watching it recently.....and since they read/watched so much in one go, they found it to be much interesting....but those who have been reading hxh for years don't find it too interesting......it has too much of unnecessary dialogues, art is shit in a few volumes, writer goes to hiatus from time to time, intitial arcs were plain boring, chimera arcs pacing is slow as hell (people who read it recently may not feel so since they read it one go, but I have been reading chimera for years now) ....also it is current anime which makes it far better....if u see the older version of anime, its not that great!!

People are saying HxH is superoir than Naruto in everyway,explain it in more detail,and keep in mind that the stories are hundreds of chapters apart.Maybr just compare the first 350 chapters of both Stories,for Naruto that would be alittle after Sasuke defeated Orochimaru,neg diff.

Also keep in mind that Togashi has way more breaks than Kishimoto deos.He has more time to rest,plan out the story,hangout with the woman he loves,their children,sleep, etc.

Things would be different if the story was ongoing it's entire run,and if Masashi had alot of breaks,then Naruto would be better.

Villains in Naruto are grey just like in HxH....non of the major villain in Naruto was completely dark.....all of them had a good side to them......strategies in both are good, and yes the dialogues in HxH are more of typical shounen crap( although chimrea arcs dialogues were better)........Anime is non canon and the credit doesn't go to Togashi for that!! xd

You're right if kishi had that much free time the war arc would be much better

The writer taking or not taking breaks doesn't add to the manga( when comparing with another *edit*) ( I wouldn't mind Kishi taking long break if he is going to improve any thing ) , naruto's art is better but I think hxh is above naruto in the other aspects

Hahahahahaha,yeah it deos.Having breaks means more time to plan out the story,rest etc.I shouldn't have to explain this,it's so obvoius,and i could go into way more detail of how breaks are very helpful and play a big role into creating manga.

Masashi has been making Naruto for 15 years,without taking many breaks,other than the regular holiday breaks or a week or two off if he's sick.

HxH started before Naruto did yet has hundreds of less chapters than Naruto.In total Togashi has had years or breaks.

Here's an example,what if HxH ends with 1000 chapters (just an example) - and Togashi had no haitus like Masashi then HxH would have about 750 chapters right now.

Him having no year long breaks and dishing out chapters weekly would have a considerable change on the story.


Even now that he's somewhat back he's still getting more breaks than everyone.3-4 chapters,break,then another 3-4 chapters and break.

Now this upcoming week WSJ will be on break so Togashi gets another break.So 2 chapters in a month in a weekly Magazine that his story just got back into a few weeks ago after being on haitus for 2 years and 3 months.lol

HxH - Haitus 2 years and 3 months - gets back has 2. haitus's within 10 chapters. lol.

Hunter x hunter can compete to naruto, one piece and bleach. It has amazing plot and lot of mysteries to be known. The "nen" power is also unique. So i could say that both hunter x hunter and naruto is best in their respective categories. I like them both.

Hunter x Hunter is better, in almost every aspect except art.

Well the art is improving now (better than Naruto's atm) but yeah Naruto did have better art before.

I never really get why people like HxH so much
It's just like any other manga

It's cause of the amount of content we get in one chapter. A regular naruto chapter takes around 1-2 minutes to read but a HxH chapter takes a lot longer to read (close to 10 mins. and sometimes more). People like dialogue heavy chapters cause of the content/exposition we get from each chapter. I swear one HxH chapter is equivalent to the amount of dialogue Naruto chapters have for a month.

Are you serious...? LOL. Togashi's current drawings are much better than Kishi's. Kishi's drawings aren't even that great, it's not as detailed and he reuses character designs. Sure, I'd agree Togashi's drawings before chapter 341 were inferior to kishi's but as of right now his drawings are improving. Don't even get me started on other mangaka's out there that have far superior drawings than kishi.
