Gotta say I disagree, The HxH manga is way better than the anime. Granted I haven't made it to the hunter exam in the anime yet but the first two episodes were drastically worse than the manga versions for me. They took to many liberties and left out key moments like Gon meeting the hunter who told him about Jin.
Yes it is a better anime. As far as your first post Bleach has the best animation of the big 3 and it has better animation than HxH. HxH is good don't get me wrong but people hype it up too much(unless it gets exponentially better) I'm almost 1/3rd of the way through the manga and while they have some cool characters they have some childish moments as well. It definitely started off strong though which most don't. The pacing of the anime seems like it will be a problem as they seem to cover 3-4 chapters or more in an episode. I'll give it it's chance but as for me and where I've reached so far it's not better than any of the big 3, not in animation or plot.
1st bold: The drawing of the manga gets worse and worse as it goes along, some parts in the later arcs are laughable. Trust me go with the anime, the ONLY thing they did differently was that one scene at the beginning. Everything else is exactly the same as the manga. And this isn't a spoiler, but that hunter from the 1st episode comes back later in the series, and they add that part as a flashback to fix it. Go with the anime.
2nd bold - it does get exponentially better, after they leave the heavens arena its starts getting crazy.
3rd bold - i guess this is arguable but I think HxH's animation is better, Bleach's drawings are good but it is kind of stiff. Plus, where you are in the series there haven't been too many fights so they haven't been able to shw off the animation.
OT: I agree 100%. Just look at how awesome my sig is.
One Piece may have a better story, but it's way longer and the story has had more time to develop. And the anime adaptation is terrible.
