Hollows kill in order to survive because of instinct, but they evolve as well which kinda reminds of the darwin theory.

As hollows continue to evolve they become more human like

Notice how how hollows as they evolve they become smaller to the point they are roughly the same size as humans as well as more intelligent. Also notice their masks become smaller and their holes become smaller like they were being filled and remember the masks represent the heart.

Which brings me to my next point about how the soul king was born. I'm thinking that before the soul society was created, there was only hueco mundo.

One of the hollows must've evolved into a human soul and was seeking for a safe place to keep away from hollows that may try to eat him and that human soul must've been the Soul King. Then there were more like him who came along and they in time became the shinigami and formed their own world called the soul society and somehow cut off their world from the hueco mundo side completely reason why they are separate dimensions from each other.

yes when ichigo turned full hollow he wasn't considered human at all which is why he almost killed his friends. he had no perception of reality but to answer your question yes ichigo turned back into a human and that does count as "reverting" the process no matter the means it happened. Ichigo turned into a hollow then back into a human.

You're assuming that the Soul King is a human soul? Do you have any idea how ridiculous that sounds? Do you have any idea how old the Soul King is?
