I think humans want more than survival. They want control. They want what is good for them, no matter the future consequences. They want what they think to be true, and anybody who enters their way will be destroyed. It is really sad, so much potential wasted for selfish greedy intentions.

Dominance, what is programmed in our heads. We see ourselves above species on our planet because were are intelligent. We are mere feeble creatures who ashamed at our weakness which is intelligence to pride ourselves dominance. By preaching the world of our dominance, we control. However, the ability to control is ineffective because everyone shows dominance. Furthermore, dominance most be acknowledge by one. We kill those who think their are the God of this world. Killing off each-other only leaves to our survival to stay alive and hiding ourselves of dominance. We can no longer group as one. Individually hiding as separate race of Humans. Unable to help one another to once again show dominance.

Well as several already said, all people who kill, do it for a reason. It may not be a reason you may understand but there is always a reason. Secondly those people who do that, does not equate what the majority does, otherwise there won't be so many people on this planet. So you can't equate what that minority do and label the entire population as being dumb as you said. Thirdly what you said in your original post does not make them dumb, it just makes them bad or evil (the people you say who kill people for no reason that is).

There are plenty of different species of animals that kill their own kind.

OT: if you really think we are the dumbest species, you might just be Darwin's missing link in the evolutionary chain, because humans are inarguably intelligent. That doesn't mean we aren't irrational and selfish which often leads to us coming across as dumb.

You're extremely ignorant for saying that. We are the Apex species of this planet and by extension; the most intelligent. Yes the actions of killing are wrongful but you act like we are the only species to do so. There is a food chain for a reason. Many animals kill others for food and or territorial dominance. We however do it out of spite, greed etc. But we are far more intelligent than every species on the planet (barring dolphins is a strong maybe).

I've seen dogs try and kill each other purely because of food. I've never tried to stab my sister at the dinner table. this is crazy! The technicality of what you said doesn't make much sense. However, if you were to use a term that doesn't contradict your point of humans being so smart we're dumb it would have been a bit more convincing. Also, you know the saying.
