In the link above is that a new chidori in the video it's beast and all but last time I checked a chidori shouldn't be able to blow up sh!t maybe it could bit a hole in the meteor or maybe chidori spear could cut it in half but but not blow sh!t up sooo can anyone explain how a chidori can blow up a meteor or maybe that was just a new more destructive chidori variant.

Lighting doesn't explode anything it either naturally burns it or splits it in half, Sasuke and Kakashi used Chidori many times and it never exploded :|

Sasuke charged a lot of chakra into that chidori. A base chidori could not have demolished a meteorite.​

Who knows but not that surprise almost anyone could break or stop a meteor that size

He probably used Shinra tensei after using chidori to cut the meteor into small pieces
