I see it all the time around the base. People think that 1 person using a jutsu named X and another person using a jutsu with the same name X. That does not make it the same jutsu.
Good examples are Koto Amatsukami and Kamui.
The differences in Kakashis and Obitos version of Kamui is clear to most (hopefully).
Shisui had 2 eyes, both containing KA, just like both of Obitos eyes contains Kamui. Shisui also does not have the same KA in both eyes. They are different, and manga has already proven it, since we have seen Danzos KA in function, and we have seen Itachis. There is many major differences, and I don't really need to explain it, since it isn't what the thread is for.
Other examples are Kabutos edo tensei and Orochimarus edo tensei. They are obviously also different.
A jutsu can be developed by the user. The new generation will keep developing the jutsu passed on to them from the old generation. Naruto uses bunshins for the rasengan, which Jiraya taught. Eventually finding new ways of using a jutsu, will in the end produce a new jutsu. Rasenshurinken.
This has been seen over and over. Just look at iron sand 3rd kazekage. Golden sand 4th kazekage.
This is how it works. The same can apply to Sasukes Amaterasu and his Susanoo. His Susanoo can be new, there is no evidence that Sasuke's Susanoo needs the user to awaken Tsukuyomi. Only Itachis needed it. I am not saying it is my belief, but it is possible. Or you may say in another way. Sasuke has just developed a different kind of Tsukuyomi than Itachi.
Now stop messing things up, and stop making lame claims about a jutsu one person used in the past, and then when someone new masters it, it can be different!
You can compare it to reality. Physic laws are named after their inventor, but usually they have been revised or changed many times through history. Does that give it a new name? No it's still the same law, it just has new purposes. U_U
