Name: Hreidarr Eklund
Nickname: -
Gender: Male
Age: 34
Clan: -
Looks: Hreidarr has the look of a barbarian. His most striking feature is his eyes. Colored a brown so dark they can be mistaken as black, Hreidarr has eyes that reflect the wildness of his spirit. The rest of his appearance matches his eyes quite nicely. His facial features are as rough as the land he lives on: a strong nose with a couple bends from being broken, a pair of thick, arched eyebrows, and an untamed mop of shoulder-length dark brown hair, with a dark brown beard to match it. His build also reflects his warrior traits. Standing nearly six feet and four inches tall and muscled like a bull, Hreidarr is a bear of a man. He is most often seen wearing fur clothing, as befits his native environment. He most often carries an axe, a longsword, and a dagger at his belt.

Personality: Hreidarr is a man who is quite difficult to predict. As befitting of a man his size, his favorite way to deal with problems is with brute force and strength. Rather than dance around a problem, he is the man who will unflinchingly meet it head on, a type of behavior that normally leads to an early grave. But, luckily, Hreidarr is just wise enough to listen to the council of others, and just clever enough to contribute to strategy, if only on occasion. Out of battle, Hreidarr is a simple enough man. Unlike his travelling partner, he does not take part in the subtle war of words that many play, it's simply not in his nature. Even out of battle, he prefers to meet problems head on. He treats his friends and comrades well, meeting them with loyalty and merriment.

History: Most of the ninja of the world are found within Hidden Villages; however, this is not always the case. There have been outcast bands of shinobi who roam the lands, unable to find a home that truly befits a ninja. These bands of shinobi are essentially nomads, travelling in packs and praying on the weak where they can, in order to get by. For the most part, the larger ninja villages attack and run them off when they find them within their borders. In lands without shinobi villages patrolling them, however, these bands are free to do as they please.

Far to the north within the land of snow, there lies a freezing region of ice and mountains, secluded from the other segments of the land. For a very long time, it was a peaceful land. Few enough people lived there, and the farmland was plentiful enough for all but the poorest to survive the winter. It was not a happy place, but it was a place someone could live their life, and to many, it was their home. Unfortunately, this rugged peaceful survival was not to last. An incredibly large band of wandering shinobi made their way up to this northern region, seeking a place that was not already protected by a true hidden village. They found what they were looking for. Within months, the few fighters of this land were defeated, and the wandering shinobi enslaved and settled what was now their new home.

The shinobi ruled over the land with an iron hand, and slowly the populations of the locals and the shinobi assimilated, until they could no longer be told apart. The result was a barbaric brand of shinobi, who could only be compared to the regular members of the Kaguya Clan. In isolation, their men and women grew much larger on average than those of any other lands, and strength was valued above all else.

It was here that Hreidarr Eklund was born. Even from a young age, it was incredibly apparent that he would be a massive man, easily outgrowing the other children, large as they were. He learned to fight as all in this region did, and he took to the ninja arts well enough, though his true strength was in close range combat, where he utilized his massive strength. By the time that Hreidarr had reached manhood, he was regarded as the strongest fighter of the land, although it had been many many years since a shinobi from the south had ventured up to their small, isolated region. But, eventually, one did: Inchato Yuki.

After observing them for a time, Inchato Yuki invited them all to return south with him. He claimed that, with a bit more refinement of their ninja art, he could lead them south to conquer much more fertile lands than this. But they took it as an insult, and tried to kill him. However, they failed utterly miserably. While their physical strength was great, their ninja techniques were vastly inferior. Even after their attempt on his life, Inchato insisted that they should prepare to come south, and ally themselves with him. Still, most did not wish to go. They did not trust the foreigner. Hreidarr, however, volunteered to go learn the ways of these foreign ninja.

And so an agreement was reached. Hreidarr would travel south with Inchato and see the world, and, along the way, Inchato would help him to hone his ninja art, which Hreidarr would then teach to his people upon his return. In repayment, once their fighting strength had been built up, the northmen would come south with Inchato, and fight with him to seize more fertile lands.

Hreidarr and Inchato travelled only a short way south before they reached their first stopping point, the home of the ninja shrew: Nest. Here, Inchato spent many months working with Hreidarr to better his understanding and skill with ninja art. As he already had a grip on many basics, he was able to pick up on everything quicker than Inchato had hoped. While in Nest, Hreidarr also got to know and learned to summon the shrew that lived there, adding even more to his battle power.

After their training was complete, Hreidarr and Inchato emerged, ready to continue travelling as Hreidarr continued to learn.

Earth Release: Hreidarr has a natural affinity for the earth element, and was quickly able to master it entirely. As a result of this, he has the ability to cast earth style jutsu with one hand seal or less.

Taijutsu Specialist: Hreidarr is a powerful practition of taijutsu, preferring to use strong fist and free form styles of fighting above all else. His style of taijutsu is to user overbearing strength to overpower his enemies' defenses.

The first picture, ''Less talkin', more raiding!''
The last picture, ''F this, run awaaaaay!''

Art from Game of Thrones Ascent? Yeh?
Yeah, that's pretty much the wildling way.

And I guess so. I google searched 'wildling concept art' and these popped up and I really loved them >.< Just enough to drop the fookin' legend, anyway
