Howl is a very mysterious and wicked individual who never reveals his real intentions. Not many people can actually see his wicked side and live long enough. Despite this, Howl is in reality an endearing, charming man who is intelligent and considerate, if somewhat self-appreciative and stubborn at times. He enjoys "slithering out" of uncomfortable situations, often in comical ways.

Howl lived a nomad life during his days in Sunagakure. He never established in one place and always strived for the better lifestyle in the conditions which were provided. Even though he hails from the Sand, he never pledged alliance to the actual village, making it more accurate that he is a citizen of the Land of Wind rather than Sunagakure itself. He was born with the special ability to manipulate Scorch, which he is still getting better at. Getting bored of the Wind Country, Howl decided to leave on a quest to live healthily. After some time, he found place in Iwagakure under Feitan's leadership. [To be Continued]
