I think there is no way to justify what they did, no matter what their reasons were.
Eren is not like Naruto, so there should be no forgiving bull and Reiner, Berthold, Annie should just stay evil.
Annie cried, but still she killed way too many people, so the only way for her to exonerate is to die, not that I want her to die.

I've been thinking tho, remember how the walls are fill with Titans ready to go at any given time or orders ? I find it interesting that now that literally everyone in the story is inside the walls will those Titans finally come out and rek everyone? Is that actually that Masters plan?

Interesting, I think Eren might actually be able to control those titans inside walls. Now that they are surrounded and have to fight a bunch of titans, this might actually be a way to escape.
