How would young fictional characters react to their older counterparts?

My thread title seems kind of confusing, so let me give some examples:

If kid Naruto time-traveled and saw what current Naruto was doing, kid Naruto would think he's either dreaming or high. Even though Naruto is such a supernatural world, fighting a god in another dimension would still seem like a stoner's daydream.

If kid Vegeta or even saiyan saga Vegeta saw current Vegeta, old Vegeta would throw up and call current Vegeta disgraceful for being friends with earthlings.

You get the point, so give me some of your examples NB.

Kakashi sees current Kakashi and sees the logic of his power up and Kamui his own head off ^__^
