As kids, K12 consisted of Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura; Neji, Lee, Tenten; Ino, Shikamaru, Chouji; Hinata, Shino and Kiba.

Now that Neji is dead, Sasuke is usually outside the village and Naruto is Hokage, how would you separate the adult versions of K12 which now include Karui, Temari and Sai instead of the aforementioned three?

  • Lee and Tenten were already team mates so I'd keep them together.
  • Ino-Shika-Cho is still valid as they have the best team mates.
  • Hinata, Shino and Kiba were previously team mates so I don't see them splitting.
  • All that remains is Sakura, Temari, Karui and Sai.
  • Due to the fact that a medic is very beneficial if Lee goes gates, it might make sense to put Sakura with Lee.
  • That would mean Temari, Karui and Sai would form the final team.

What do you guys think?

  1. Do you think putting two of the strongest K12 members together (Sakura and Lee) makes things unbalanced?
  2. Do you think couples should pair up together or be separated?
  3. Would the team members in the new team work together or will conflicts arise?

Sasuke pretty much have show to take care of herself as an adult and you a summoning jutsu you are never alone. The point of a 3 man squad is to reduce injury, Sakura doesn't care. Sakura isn't lacking in any department , she is smart , a medic , and a brute. She is the perfect on woman team, and she is a sensor (Katsuyu)

Read Sakura hidden, Sakura solo'd because of this

But Sakura and Ino together is just as effective as shika ino cho

I'd have to think about it more but I'd like to see Lee on the same team as a skilled medic. He could spam high risk moves without any real consequences.

Shikamaru, Sakura, and Lee would be an interesting team. Two brains (mostly Sakura's intellect would be required though), a medic on par (or superior) to Tsunade who's also a genjutsu type, to support a glass-cannon like Lee, who has a bunch of moves that are super-powerful but risky. This risk would be negated by Sakura and Shika's tactical guidance, both their abilities to dispel genjutsu and Sakura's super shannaroo healing.
