As we know, many fans hate pairings for whatever reason (especially NH and SS).
Well what if Kishi did this?:
He makes none of the pairings canon in order to appease the fans, but he still wanted the new kids to appear, so...
He has Boruto, Himawari, Sarada and all of the other new generation kids pop up out of nowhere. They all have the same appearances, abilities, personalities, genetics, etc... The kids all live alone (except for Boruto and Himawari who live together, as they are still siblings), but they can take care of themselves.
Kishi explains this by having Shino break the 4th wall, and give a monologue to the readers that says, "These are my academy students. They were all born via spontaneous generation about 2 years after the war. Nevertheless, I can sense that these kids still have the genes of the parents that Kishi wanted to give them *he then goes on to explain who those pairings were*".
How would you react to this?
