Nah. I don't think so. Shanks shouldn't get easily defeated like that. Though we have that obvious mistake in the pic.

The result might be this but I would love to see the battle and also luffy's reaction towards Blackbeard who snatched away his brother Ace and Shanks. That would be an interesting view and completely emotional scene.
That image made me shocked for a while and just picturing the scenes around it made my eyes teary :'(

So Eos will be Whitebeard and more when he masters Hus DFs ...I think BB will beat Shanks...and u have to remember he gave Shanks the scar in the 1st place and the way Shsnks sounded...it sounded like it was a fair hit

Blackbeard gave that scar to shanks when he was an apprentice on rogers ship. It's a different story now...Blackbeard would lose pretty badly lol :/ shanks doesn't have a dad so the darkness fruit won't even affect him + his haki is probably the strongest :/ people overestimate Blackbeard and underestimate shanks xD

Sorry to disapoint but by the end of the manga BB is going to be stronger than anyone and probably on par with prime WB/Roger or slightly weaker, if he is gonna be luffy's final enemy or pre-final enemy, he gotta be stronger than anyone and by the time luffy beats BB i think BB will be the WSM, it just makes sense for BB to be stronger than anyone in order to be a worthy enemy for luffy, he is definitely going to get stronger than shanks, he has great potential.

If I recall correctly, Luffy never brought "avenge" as a motive to fight someone.

Luffy will clearly attack people who harm those he cares about and his friends. That's pretty much how he ended up punching Teach at Impel Down, fighting Arlong, and fighting Doflamingo.

He'd beat them 1 on 1. Ganging up on him is the only way to win, and it definitely won't be low-diff... that's the way I see it.
He's the strongest character alive after all.

I don't want Shanks to die though, I want Luffy to defeat him and to see him through to the end of becoming Pirate King. But since he's pretty much the Jiraiya of the series... I dunno.

It would certainly make the plot a lot more interesting if Shanks is killed by Blackbeard...it would raise the Luffy vs Blackbeard fight to the next level IMO.

We didn't no the difficulty they won at and besides the haxness of Akainu and Blackbeard is on a different level from Garp and Sengoku

Sadly its inevitable, theres no way Luffy is losing that strawhat.

Him and Ace were my favs, I'm about to lose them all pretty soon. I think he will be the last Yonko taken down as well besides BB. I say he has a couple of years left though.
