How would you change the manga?

3. Make Tobi Indra in Obito's body and the final villain (before Sasuke at least). His intention for Sasuke being his next vessel OR, better yet, a means to revive his original body. Madara ends up fulfilling the role Tobi/Indra had in mind for Sasuke. Oh and make Kagami, Izuna and Madara's father his previous hosts for the lulz. Or just stick to Madara as final villain. I think I'd keep the story with Kaguya and the fruit but don't introduce her in the last 50 chapters and then bring her back as the final villain (and don't make her the Juubi, I still can't make sense of that shit, or any of the shit from the Kaguya arc for that matter).

I just thought of a cool way this could have been done. Indra doesn't body jump like Orochimaru but instead uses Kotoamatsukami (a far more powerful one than Shisui's) to basically brainwash people into becoming him. So on his deathbed he brainwashes one of his kids or something. The victim takes the eye that brainwashed him, puts on a mask and uses Indra's KA eye to brainwash someone else (probably one of his own kids or grandkids) into being Indra when his own life is near its end. Every victim of this KA chain calls himself Tobi. Repeat for 1000 years until an old masked Izuna/Kagami, the previous Tobi, finds Obito, fixes him up, does what Madara did with Rin to awaken his MS, then KA's him, then dies. Would have made KA more relevant too.

The plan would be that a Tobi would find an Uchiha who awakens the rinnegan, then KA him into resurrecting the real Indra. Madara couldn't do it because he was too old when he awakened the rinnegan. Nagato couldn't do it because the rinnegan wasn't originally his. So the plan would be to make Nagato resurrect Madara in his prime and in turn KA Madara into resurrecting the real Indra. This'd be scrapped (temporarily at least) with Nagato's death, so Tobi would turn his attention to Sasuke. Wait for him to awaken Rinnegan and KA him into resurrecting the real Indra. Things would somehow end up swinging back to Madara being the one to resurrect Indra.

Numbers made a vídeo about this once and there was a point in specific that I had tought about before too:
After the Pain Invasion Arc, there should be something like a "Civil War" Arc, with Danzo as the main villain.
Immediatly after the Invasion, with the village in shambles and Tsunade in a coma, Danzo comes in and seizes power, taking dissidents to underground Root prisoners camps and making Naruto a public enemy with false evidences against him. Meanwhile, everyone is put against everyone, with people having to choose between the self apointed "Hokage" and their friend, despite all evidence in contrary. It would be a great Arc for Sai's development for example, when he ultimatly choose tp side with Naruto instead of Danzo.
The Arc will end with a twist: When the main characters finnaly manages to prove that Danzo was behind everything and track him down, it shows that Sasuke killed him, showing his coming to the "dark side".

Well I am not a writer. But wishful thinking.

1. Team 7 would have been shown doing more missions together and a bit of bonding before and maybe a bit after, the Chunin exams. Then Sasuke's betrayal would have been better, and the desire to shave him would have made more sense if they was a closer relationship than what we saw-also making Sakura's love have some merit. Then adding to that, it would have taken 98% of the series to redeem him.

2. KinGin would have killed Darui, and stuck around as villains longer, showing more jutsu/abilities before a final showdown with B and Raikage-maybe even add in that A's father is the one who originally killed them.

3. Giving different characters some more depth and focus.

These are just the 1st automatic thoughts that came to mind. May be more, but I have to think over the entire series.
