We got an anime remake of naruto from a different studio? One with higher quality animation that’s consistent throughout the series, so fights that are supposed to be exciting milestones for characters (Sakura/Chiyo vs Sasori, 8th Gate Gai, arguably Naruto vs Pain) aren’t bland rehashes of the same few animations over the course of 20 episodes to showcase one boring fight with one other boring fight, animation that severely disappoints one of the most awesome and intense moments of the series that I wanted to see since I’d heard of it, and awkward and jarring animations that completely kill any immersion you had into the literal main antagonists peak fight. We’d get fights finished in one-two episodes instead of ten-twenty, and praying to god we would stop getting such GARBAGE FILLER CHARACTER DESIGNS ALL THE TIME, or no fillers at all, or at least keep the handful of good filler from shippuden like the one where naruto and sasuke get glued together or from part 1 where the gang tries to see kakashis face.
I for one would be all for it, I’d love it if they went even further and took almost a full metal alchemist/full metal alchemist brotherhood approach and smoothed out inconsisties and retconns, and added foreshadowing to events that felt forced and not built up at all. Itachis plot twist came out of nowhere and was handled well in that sense, but why tf did he want to make sasuke give in to hatred and suffer like that? You just killed your entire clan to protect him, how is this protecting him? Kaguya needs development and foreshadowing and black zetsu would not be missed at all if they just removed him from the end of the series completely and have, like, the god tree overwhelm madara as he’s distracted fighting naruto and sasuke and then kaguya can speak for herself and offer backstory and development to make her a villain with more than just a 2D face and horns.
Anyways, this turned more into a criticism of the anime/poor development by kishi and hopes for better and brighter future. Good night America, and merry Christmas to all
