How would itachi act in sasuke situation

I said this in a earlier thread that if itachi after he did the Ichihara massacre and danzo for some reason kills sasuke how would itachi react would he be influenced by the curse of hatred too like sasuke and take revenge on all or just Danzo and be not a anti-villain or hero like everyone claims he is. I think he go insane like sasuke did after he killed Danzo IMO wbu hypothetically

To me itachi is a really good person at heart like naruto, hashirama, minato, etc. You can almost say he knew more about life, hatred and all that then those other guys. No way would itachi be dumb enough to seek revenge against the village. He might kill danzo but only after understanding why he did it. If danzo killed sasuke because sasuke was trying to destroy the village then i think itachi would be ok with. If danzo killed sasuke to get rid of all uchihas then he would kill danzo.
