How would Hinata fair against Shin Uchiha if she had to defend her family?

It's not a fair fight, because shin has mutliple sharingans. Like Sakura, she'd probably get a few unexpected hits in.If she's successful, she might even break a chakra point.

Considering the circumstances, I wouldn't expect too much, other than a showy "palms technique" or "twins lion fists"...maybe a chakra rotation...some showy stuff, with the end result being that someone needed to jump in and help her. The usual.

Sakura was nerfed, She could've defelcted Shin if she wanted without even touching him.
They just needed her not to solo, so that Sarada could see that Sasuke cares.

Can you be anymore delusional? Sakura literally sneaked up on shin and delivered that punch. It was shown clear as day that Sakura couldn’t handle shin when shin was focused on her.

Neither of the two adaptations implied this. They just showed that Sasuke came to interrupt before she had to do anything particularly serious. This is not a vs thread about her so i'll stop.

Hinata wouldn't do that bad at all. Her skill set can work in this situation. I think she would be overwhelmed eventually but she could last.

If she got engaged in taijutsu she would probably clean up tho, her best bet of winning is closing off that chakra
