Would he have fought black beard? Ye, but he would have been beaten with low diff from him.


Marineford

Who could he have gone toe to toe with? Kuzan, Borsalino, Doflamingo. He would have lost, but I think he could push them to their limits.
Would he have saved ace? No.
Would him being there actually have made a difference? Yes, only a little though.

How quickly would he have beat Lucci? Extremely quickly, with no diff.

Most of these situations are kind of wishful thinking and dumb considering those situations aided Luffy in growing as a fighter, but to stay on point with this thread...
Everything would have been easier and quicker.

-Enies Lobby would have been a walk in the park, just go around COtC the darn place and Elephant Gun to the whole CP9 = short arc.

-Impel Down, he would have walked in without a scratch and the same on the way out. Ace and Jinbei go outside with him and Ace stays alive. Magellan would just have to get a big ol' Gigant Thor considering how Luffy did almost the same to Caesar towards the end of Punk Hazard and Magellan is out. Blackbeard would have gotten his butt whooped by a Haki infused, Gear 2nd speed Luffy, not to mention Ace is with him so Blackbeard Pirates go down here.

-Marineford, Marines go out of business with a Full Powered Whitebeard Pirates and a PTS Luffy.
