How would a uzumaki with byakugo effect the 8 gates if activated

I dont think you'd be able to keep byakugo activated after 8 gates burns out and you've got that little flame of chakra left. Its more complicated than just your body decaying. It has to do with your life force.

I agree to an extent, I think Byakugo could be effective during the first 1-6 gates (maybe 1-5) but I don't see it being useful after gate 6.

I feel like for some reason 8 gates and byakugou would be a terrible combination.

The whole purpose of the 8 gates being closed is to keep your body from expiring too soon and having all the chakra flow freely through your body is what causes the physical damage.

Sure Byakugou might heal the damage, but it also adds years worth of additional chakra back into your body, which would add to 8 gates damage right? Which would mean byakugou would have to work twice as hard just to do it's normal function. Plus, byakugou is also rapid cell division. Advanced aging+Advanced physical deterioration is not a good combo to me

Really man I feel like you'd die even quicker. Gai was ****ed up but at least he was still young. Imagine him having Tsunade's post byakugo symptoms ON TOP of post 8 gate symptoms. Hell naw!

I figure the amount of widespread damage that the Gate of Death does, being pretty much cooked from the inside out, constantly, would quickly exhaust the user's chakra if they tried to waste the Byakugo's healing to stall the inevitable instead of unloading that chakra on whoever they feel is worthy enough that the Gate of Death is even necessary.

Being an Uzumaki only means that the user would be able to stay in 8G Mode for a longer period of time without roasting completely alive.

Uzumaki are only famous for strong lifeforce and fuinn jutsu and with that in mind they'd be a 1/3 of what tsunade is. So nothing special and would die faster than guy sense who possessed a real strong body.

1. you can't use gates & byakugou(or any sage mode) simultaneously.

2. the 8th gate kills you. you can't even use a jutsu after closing it, you just turn into dust devoid of chakra, gg

3. using byakugou after 6th or 7ty gate is literally possible, but would just put the user in a coma.
so i'td still be better to just take 24 hours and recover from it the normal way

cuz all available chakra that isnt maintaining organ function is dominated by the muscles as its turned directly into raw energy/stamina for heightened physical capability; thats what Gates is.
doing both at the same time is akin to casting amaterasu in 1 eye while simultaneously casting Tsukiyomi in the same eye. the eye in the paralell represent the chakra use in gates.

So if u r using a ninjutsu, u r not using gates by omission & vice versa.
e.g. U can't mold chakra in gates, U can only convert it to fuel

Coincidentally this is in exact opposition to a sagemode-user who takes in a separate chakra source to boost his own physical AND chakra capabilities involuntarily, allowing the use of empowered ninjutsu, voluntarily...

But Byakugou first feeds off of chakra stored in Tsunade's Yin seal, hence its not the bodies chakra she is using first.

I'll see your loophole & raise U a pair of technicalities.

the 1st, being Yin seal is a ninjutsu, requires a handseal, implying it also is a manual chakra ''manipulation''. in that, it uses her body's chakra to perform the Kai/release for seal-opening; not possible in gates where ninjutsu capability is automatically superceeded by the Hachimon state.

this is also why SS/Bya is impossible if Tsunade is already dead OR unconscious...

the 2nd, being that even if she started byakugo then went into gates; once again the jutsu would be cancelled by gates, as i theorized in the first post.

So that extra mass of chakra, unsealed & released, would then be forced to feed the gates flow, possibly allowing her to stay in 'gates mode' for days at a time if enough is stored there
She could use those days, assuming the war is over by then, to get her will & last words in order - then death -
