If the spoilers are to be believed, Momo is still alive somehow (possibly inside Boruto), and the manga will try to spin yarn out of that. While Momo was deep fried by the Father-Son Rasengan (like Perfect Cell was in DBZ) and never left his mark on Bolt. SP has been pretty crappy with their incessant filler and making episodes out of nothing, but if the anime is going it's own way, could it be our only hope for non-asspull Ootsutsuki BS?
