Take a look at the Madara vs Hashirama fights

Then read the Chapter where Hashirama explains everything to sasuke about his an Madara's history !!!!

Now after watching and reading them tell do u still think madara is really gonna stab Edo Hashirama and turn him evil or is just fighting him watching and learning all of his moves and watching an learning how he goes into Sage Mode ????

yeah that we are waiting for and we can only quess, obito is nearly defeated, juubi and rinnegan are present, madaraa said something like switching with hashirama to gain enormous sage ability,

madara have senju dna thus he awakened rinnegan and with rinnegan + mokuton inside him he can utilize it same way than base hashirama
