In case you guys didn't notice, according to the movie plot summary it was stated that Boruto wants to surpass Naruto. Given from that statement, Kishimoto is obviously going to make it happen and I'm pretty sure that Kishi was never Joking once a Main Character made such Vow. So yeah at this point ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE so I'm just going to stick in to what I believe .
Lets be real here. Bolt learning Hyuga or Lightning style from Sasuke or perhaps perfecting his own technique that surpasses the previous generation isn't enough to surpass Naruto in fact the only way I can see that's going to happen is if he had the Sage power who is part of Hagoromo&Hamura line.
Here's what I think will happen to Bolt.
Lets be real here. Bolt learning Hyuga or Lightning style from Sasuke or perhaps perfecting his own technique that surpasses the previous generation isn't enough to surpass Naruto in fact the only way I can see that's going to happen is if he had the Sage power who is part of Hagoromo&Hamura line.
Here's what I think will happen to Bolt.
Bolt have the Potential to awaken the Tenseigan as a Mix of Hyuuga and Uzumaki. After all "The Last" movie is canon and in it Toneri Explained the Tenseigan is created by Combining Hyuuga Eyes with the abilities of other Ōtsutsuki lineages it wouldn't surprise me if the Uzumaki ability to use Sage and Biju powers mixing with the Byakugan to awaken the Tenseigan in him.
Lets not forget while he was Underwhelming in the movie, Toneri was said to be on par with Madara in his Green Chakra Cloak form. I think that would be enough for Bolt to reach the levels of his dad. However that is just an option based on the current knowledge of the story for all we know Kishimoto may create a whole new power out of the Mix of Hyuuga and Uzumaki.
Same may be said for Sarada by learning Sage techniques and stuff from Naruto "if" he does teach her then who knows what that may do to the Sharingan, Yeah Sasuke did have Sage and Sharingan powers when he had the Curse Seal but I don't think the Curse Seal and Sage Mode are all that Comparable.
Anyone like to add to this? Or Refute it with a Better Theory?
