If you look at his heritage, he definitely has great potential. But you just cant beat being a transmigrant and gaining power from the sage himself, and being a jin. That just too much to overcome no matter how much a prodigy he is, or his his bloodline that has already denied him his byukugan cuz kishi forgot it.

He had his wood release and SM.He fodderzoned Madara twice.Madara who had Susanoo Kurama and sharingan.
Who said Boruto can't get something similar? Boruto can easily get SM.And at age of 12 made Rasengan one handed without kage bunshins.Mastered Chidori....and is only 12.Fighting villain worse than Kaguya.

He can't pass them.
He may have all that stuff, but so did Sasuke and Naruto, but even they had to die and basically be reborn from the sage himself and others outside to help them gain powers.
Bolt won't pass Sasuke and Naruto .. not canon wise.
It also wouldn't be fair honestly.

Hashirama is an ashura transmigrant. There is a reason he is so powerful. Bolt is not a transmigrant. So you cant compare the two. Plus, mokuton is OP.
