How was the Kaguya clan formed?

How the f*ck did it reach the Kaguya clan

Are you serious? They have her name & their KKG is one of her abilities, Kishimoto obviously showcased these traits of her character for a reason. He could've easily gave her another name & technique.

Her first name is the clan's surname: Kaguya Clan. Kaguya's surname is Ōtsutsuki.

Also, Muu and Oonoki had the same Kekkei Tōta: Dust Release, but the manga never suggested there were blood related?

The Kaguya clan was introduced way before Kaguya was even thought of Im sure. It's not pure coincidence that the clan's surname is her primary name. Kishimoto did that on purpose.

I think they are another family branch from Hamura's line like the Hyuuga and the moon people. They perhaps took the name Kaguya as their clan name in honor of Hamura's Mother. Perhaps Hamura wanted his mother to be remembered in at least one way.
