How was Sakon the strongest sound 4 member, but not Kidomaru?

Kidomaru isn't as powerful as them because of his personality, all of their personalities have to be factored in and is their biggest downfall in my opinion. Kidomaru and Jirobo may be the cockiest of them all but Kiddy especially as he plays with his food which led to his death.

Sakon (if you factor out the BS Kankuro death) is #1 because his power makes him an extremely difficult enemy to fight- really tricky and you have to commit suicide to get him. He's similar to Suigetsu in the way he's difficult to actually put down.

I'll take Oro and Kabuto's word for it though. Kidomaru's personality interfered with his tactics and screwed him over, otherwise he could've quite handily defeated Naruto and even Neji. I think having an enemy incredibly hard to put down would make the twins stronger, just not in a 1v1 scenario.

Agreed. Just wish Kishi went more in depth with the sound 4. It seems like Kimimaro was the only one to receive development that conflicted with other characters. I wish we saw how the sound 4 grew up when they were younger and what drove them to want to join Orochimaru in the first place.

Even remembering part 1 days when they made that barrier to keep no one from interfering with Orochimaru's fight with Hiruzen, not even those anbu could break it. Says a lot about how strong they were back then.

Tayuya was brought back during the 4th shinobi war and used by Kabuto while Hidan stayed dead in the ground with his dismantled body parts cuz nobody cared for his stupid ass after Asuma died, lmao.

The S4 show more than 2 emotions for one and have fun interactions with one another as well as gaping personality flaws that lead to their downfall. Hidan didnt get enough development because his arc was rushed. Kishi wanted to go more indepth with the dude but didnt have time to. Wtf Hidan also had personality flaws that led to his downfall. He was outplayed by Shikamaru. And Hidan is one of funniest dudes in akatsuki besides Deidara.
