At some point Kabuto or Orochimaru found Madara's body and theorized how to possibly obtain the Rinnegan. Kabuto used unknown means to recreate Madara's normal ET form to that of a younger body that still possessed Hashi's cells which he didn't have when he was originally that age.

Edo Tensei is not the rebuilding of a corpse. It's a space/time and matter manipulation summoning justsu that calls a soul from the afterlife to take residence in the sacrificed and altered body of someone else via any DNA of the person left behind and incantations. Their powers and physical forms are resurrected, but in truth they are basically clay dolls, made up of amulets covering another dead person.

Well I see it rather as Kabuto get Madara DNA;s as old man, then somehow reverted to his body to young state after vote when he implanted Senjuu DNA in himself but NO RINNEGAN yet. Then somehow he implanted/created Rinnegan and put in Madara's eye sockets.

And then you got: Young Madara with Senjuu DNA and Rinnegan

I have a feeling there will be more revealed about it soon, Orochimaru still has to make his move after all. There will probably be a flashback of Oro and Kabuto talking about the secret's of Madara's body or something like that.
