Even with its wholesome message, Gaiden wasn't afraid to show some blood and gore and even a cut open corpse. Makes me feel like even if peace has been achieved Kishimoto doesn't want to starve us of graphic ninja action. But then again, The Last was pretty damn tame. You think Boruto will have violent scenes or just ninjas clashing with explosions?

Yeah I want Boruto to get stabbed and shit.
Make him lose some limbs on the real, make that guy feel pain so he can turn into a dark prodigy. Throw that goody goody two shoes Naruto gene out of the system, make him evil.

It should be 2 hours logically being the last Naruto work, in fact above 2 hours if it intends on featuring this plot change. Cause it requires more than apparent. However, this is how the movie will go, first you know, somehow Boruto will be made aware of Sasuke being Naruto's rival, find him and request apprenticeship. Train with him. Complete chuunin exams. Enemy invasion. Naruto kidnapping. Sasuke's departure with Boruto and the Kages. Finding Naruto. Fighting with Kinshiki and others. Final fight with Momoshiki. A lot of it. Among all of this, I don't think a dramatic change in Boruto's personality might occur for two reasons.
1. Not a lot of time (the time is more than enough but not enough to feature such a dramatic twist). A separate series might be required for this. It should have been started in Gaiden.
2. Doesn't blend in any part of the plot i.e. Boruto going dark side then returning good. Which occasion will you fit it in?
