remember this is just my opinion

naruto is going to use jesus talk no jutsu to tobi and tobi is going to realize how bad he is then the five kages have already use alot of chakra. madara is about to kill em but tobi with naruto teleports where madara is fighting the kages and stop him from killing them. naruto is piss off because tsunade is all skeleton but tobi stop him and said "stop naruto your no match to him let me take care here you just watch. i have never done anything good perhaps ... and starts the fight

if madara is simply dealt with by ending edo tensei it will be a massive letdown. the kage have to deal with him, or at least, madara has to kill them all and is then dealt with by naruto/sasuke/konoha 11/whatever in a legitimate fight, in a legitimate way. there can be no plot convenience in one of the 3 most important battles of all naruto, what a poor way to end the series.

Just because they end edo doesn't mean the war is going to end. Madara is a boss, yes, butTobi was planning this war without Kabuto. I'm sure Tobi has something else up his sleeve. He didn't just go into war with a bunch of worthless zetsus. He has something else he's hiding. Maybe we'll see that once Edo ends.

How about Itachi stops the edo tensei and he and madara die again but before he tells Sasuke the whole truth .. and Sasuke gets a change of heart and help the alliance .. on the other battlefield Tobi defeats and captures the nine and eight tails .. Uses his rinnegan to fully revive Madara again..Then Tobi reveals his face and Tsuki no me begins... Naruto is weakened but not dead cuz he is uzumaki .. Then comes Sasuke to the rescue .. and helps him battle tobi + madara .. it woud be an epic 2v2 battle ..

Personally, I would LOVE This ending. Don't really know why though...

But I doubt this is whats going to happen.
